i've lived at 61 brookline avenue (which is in kenmore square, not kendall square you bonehead) for 3 years now. i have a nice loft on the 4th floor overlooking fenway park with the best views in the city (it's a little small but the 11 foot windows and 14 foot high ceiling make up for it).
plus, i have a 24-hour parking spot in the indoor garage. all for under 1200 a month! where can you get a better deal''
sure it's noisy sometimes but what do you expect' it's right at the end of lansdowne street, the sights and sounds add to the experience!!!
the building maintenance guy is very nice and would NEVER leave sex toys in the freight elevator. it sounds like that last person had who submitted a review had an axe to grind for some reason.
they raised my rent 15 dollars in the past 3 years. again, where can you beat that'
also, my girlfriend can walk around at night without worrying about getting mugged as the neighborhood is very safe.
i would recommend this building.
