This is an organization, from landlord Barry Samuels down, which attempts to prey on students and young adults. The apartment I rented from Bay Realty was very nice, though slightly overpriced, but the hassles with which I was forced to deal over the course of the lease significantly devalued the unit. If you do rent from this unethical organization be EXTREMELY diligent about documenting the conditions of your apartment at the time of move-in and move-out, save all of your e-mail correspondences with Barry or his representatives, and ask for written confirmation of anything he tells you over the phone because it is not a matter of IF they will attempt to weasel money from you, but WHEN. Also, tape the phone number to Inspectional Services (617-635-5300) to your refridgerator and call them immediately if you see something which appears to violate a safety or sanitation code.

Wow, why didn't I find you sooner! If this guy tries to get any random money from me, he's in for a HUGE suprise- and you actually got him on the phone? He wouldn't even get on the phone when our heating/hot water went out for a couple days in December. I definitely can't wait to get out of here!
