My roommate and I lived in a Bernard and Berkman apt, in the 211 Harvard Ave building. Our landlord was very friendly, responsive, and helped out out when needed. It was a bit loud, but this is Allston after all. Only once did we have to tell the poeple above us to quiet down.

We had one mouse, but no rats, no roaches, no insects. They kept the stairs clean and ice-free, and when the front door glass was broken, they fixed it promptly.

The heat and hot water in the apt were fantastic, it has in-building washer and dryer that was always up and running.

We only have two issues that popped up a few times. a) The front door to the building had a faulty lock, and we were locked in our building a few times, or it was taped open. b) The fire alarm would go off from time to time, and it would take a while for them to come and reset it and turn it off.
