Backstone recently acquired my building, they still allowed Forest Properties or Forest city (located at 91 Westland Ave, Park Side Apartments) to mange the buildings. awful mistake.

If anyone have something good to say about the management is simply because is a liar that never lived in one of their apartments and probably have some interest to promote them.

Most of apartments they manage are dirty. They only clean them up during showing season. People living in them are dirty too: alcohol vomiting and other type of intoxication are common. They have no idea how to (or they dont want to) take care of the mice problem. Staff is untrained and most work is only partially finished, i.e., if a pipe brakes, they fix it, but Why

should we replace the tiles' the plaster patch on the wall should do fine.

If you are thinking of living at the Blackstone Apartments - DON'T. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where maintenance works for a living and doesn't steal from apartments when tenants are not home. The place is not kept well at all and maintenance likes to be paid extra money to do their jobs. You will never find a WORSE place than this. RUN - DON'T WALK AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THIS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE. I know many people who have lived there and LEFT. The place is dirty and the only time that it looks good is when there is an inspection (which is once a year). Management is HORRIBLE and the people working in this place are ATROCIOUS.
