I lived at 520 Beacon St for the past two years. It was the worst experience of my life. Parking is horrible. The parking lot is tiny and costs $200. When the snow plow comes through, he backs into cars. The frat houses next door are AWFUL and loud. They scratch your car.

Heat would go out during the coldest days of winter. The boiler finally exploded. Management is completely unresponsive.

There was often no heat or hot water.

520 Beacon is a condominium. Management acts only within the guidelines and rules set for by the trutees of the building. This means using the vendors of their choice. Boston is unfortunately very expensive as it is in high demand. The boiler exploded because the owners and trustees chose not to replace it sooner as suggested. The residents had to pay the price for this decision and management responded quickly to their needs in accordance with trustees.
