Manager's Response

From: Manager Date: 02/18/2009
Robert Weintraub is no longer involved in any way with the BRW rental/sales office. This office is under new management. This was clearly an isolated incident, and written by someone with a personal issue against a former employee.

I am not the original poster, and if Weintraub is no longer with BRW, that's good. But as a former tenant of BRW, I can assure any potential future tenants that BRW is a terrible company through and through. Rude people taking your emergency calls (as your bathroom floods from above). Workers coming days and even weeks after they are supposed to. Fire alarms going off in the middle of the night and not being turned off by the landlord for hours. And my personal favorite, constant tours through your apartment beginning 6 months from the expiration of your lease. You need to renew your lease 6 months before the old lease expires, or else they will tour your apartment multiple times every day until they have a new tenant. I never had much confidence in the supervision of these tours...

Wow..nothing has changed..I rented through them for a year at the braemer..and had to deal with Weintraub also. Terrible experience, the building is falling apart (though it is a great piece of architecture), and callousness...i hope the credit crunch affects all those bloodsucking realtors....and teaches them a lesson of honesty

I assure you problems with Robert Weintraub were not isolated. I am glad to hear that BRW rental office is under new management but my experience with them were so horrid I could never fathom giving them a second chance. I wish good luck to all those who do. If you do decide to rent from them be aware that they have been requiring 6 months notice (which is not standard for other companies, which usually require 3) and tend to raise rents over $100 per year even in this economy (hence the 6 months notice).
