They are the most HORRIBLE apartment management company in the entire city. I have lived here from my days of college through now and I have to say that I have never, in all my life, had to be so confrontational with anyone before. They have tried to evict me for lack of payment, when in fact, they had cash my rent check for the month in question 4 days before it was even due! I paid early and they cashed the check, yet they tried to evict me for not paying. Explain how that makes sense' My parents and I tried phoning and emailing Weintraub for two straight days before we received a response. Finally, all that we got was a one-line email from him saying it was a mistake and the bank's fault for the error. BRW also does not keep track of received rent checks; instead, they cash all incoming checks immediately (regardless of the date on the check) and wait for the bank to tell them what they received. Then from there they figure out who missed a payment. -- This has the be the most unorganized and irresponsible way of conducting business.

On top of that, my apartment was a dump when I moved in, despite their promise to clean it before move-in day. Mind you, I moved in 2 days after my lease started, so they had 4 or more days to clean it, but chose not to. More importantly, this winter was MISERABLE (no exaggeration whatsoever) as they refused to turn the heat on. The only times that I noticed the heat was actually on was when they were showing the apartments to future tenants. I will most definitely not be one of those future tenants and you shouldn't either! Avoid renting from BRW at all costs. It will only become a waste of your time, patience, and MONEY. They will not fix broken appliances, leaking ceilings, broken doors, nor turn on your heat. And to top it all off, they will enter your unit whenever they damn please. They started showing my apartment in December without my knowledge (and without asking me if I was planning to re-sign in the first place for September) and I came out of my shower one day to find one of their sneaky, sleezy realtors standing in my living room showing my apartment to 2 guys.

DON'T RENT FROM BOSTON REALTY WORKS!!!
