I've lived in this building for two years, and if I wasn't leaving Boston, would probably stay.

First off, it's the ONLY affordable highrise I found in Boston. It's incredibly well maintained, and the maintenance staff is quick, friendly, and very good. Management is great, provided you're respectful and friendly. The door staff is pretty good (especially Marvin), but there are a couple of guys that like to walk away from the desk...

I'll admit, my apartment is a little small, and there are a few quirks in the building: there aren't enough washers and dryers (while I usually get one or two, there is sometimes a wait on weekends), there are no electrical outlets in my bathroom, A/Cs in the bedroom wall make it a little difficult to arrange furniture, and if you live on the back side of the building, you may get woken up by garbage trucks picking up from the bar next door.

If these are the worst complaints I have, that's pretty good -- apartments are clean, appliances work, and I haven't had any issues with water, pests, or security. Rent is good for Beacon Hill and I can walk to work in the financial district in minutes. Great apartment!
