Although I thought this was the apartment of my dreams, central heat/ac, laundry in building, electric applainces, I WISH I HAD NEVER LAID EYES ON IT!!! The owner and his son are rude, crude, and disrespectful, especially if you complain about anything in your unit. When I moved in the apartment was filthy, hair and dirt everywhere and I mean everywhere, this dishwasher and fridge looked and smelled like a dead body had been stored there. I was advised by the real estate agent to hire a cleaning crew and deduct the cost from my rent. I did so and for the rest of the year the owner tried to get me to repay the amount because he thought it was ridiculous to hire a cleaning crew--shows you what he cares about the upkeep of his building. Also I had to get the main lock on my aparment door changed because I was not given that key at move-in, the realtor only had the deadbolt key-again the owner tried to make me repay the amount--shows how much he cares about the security of the building. My neighbors on either side were undergraduate college students so the partying went on until all hours of the night and with paper thin walls I could hear every word they said. If you are a calm, cool and professional adult nothing is worth living here for-not even the location. I got out as soon as I could.
