Great space for less money From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/28/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   I lived in Emerson Place and loved it. Unlike other people who commented here, I found that the maintenance and building services were excellent. The leasing agents were flexible in our negotiations. The apartment itself was by far nicer and much larger than anything else of comparable price and comparable location. All the appliances were modern and functional, the floors were a nice hardwood parquet, the closet space was ample, the views were nice, and the large livingroom/diningroom space was great for entertaining. The location is superb for someone like me who doesn't drive - It's just a five minute walk (or less) to ANY T-line. You can walk to the North End, Haymarket, Boston Common, Back Bay, Cambridge, etc, too. Also, the neighbors were nice and diverse - many young professionals, elderly couples, and families. The laundry facilities were well maintained and not overcrowded and the trash pickup and mail delivery were promt and regular. I highly recommend Emerson Place.
