Charles River Park Apartments on Charles River Plaza

absolute disaster! STAY AWAY From: mghentt Date posted: 2/19/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   If anyone out there is thinking of moving into the charles river park complex I would recommend you look elsewhere. In fact I would tell you that you're CRAZY to ever consider this place. I am stuck in a lease for another 3 months and am actually moving into another apartment while paying for both because I can't stand living here. The leasing office is horrible and they lie to you, they screw you over and fail to mention the giant constructioni project that is going on. I live in 1 emerson overlooking the river and all, but for the last month i have been woken up at 7am everyday to the loud drilling and pounding of the construction site right outside our window. The parking garage was destroyed and now you have to walk almost 10 minutes to get to your car while paying 300/month for some lousy facility. There is absolutely nothing positive i can say about this apartment complex other than the fact that the people working at the concierge desk are really nice, but i can understand why. Without these people at the front desk the entire living situation would make you want to committ suicide. Did i mention the noise situation' you can hear everything from other people yelling at their wives, to making whoopy, to merely walking on the floor or watching tv upstairs and next to you. The toilets are moldy and the entire construction project has left dust and filth all over the place and makes it dangerous to walk outside sometimes. If you are thinking of moving here I would suggest looking under your local bridge first cause this place ain't much better and living under the bridge is probably a heck of a lot cheaper!
