Noisy, but safe and easy living

If you can look past the noise, you will probably enjoy Church Park. However, if you live on the lower floors (any side of the bldg.) get ready for noise! There is a fire station several blocks from here that passes by the apartments, on average, eight to nine times a day -- that's a fire engine or two, plus police and/or ambulance in tow. This building is set very close to one of the busiest roads in town (Mass Ave.) It's like living on a super highway (I live on the 2nd Floor). There are also lots of loud college students (mostly at night) and ones from Berkley College of Music I guess that like to sing acapella loud, maybe looking for a record deal or something.
As for management, I've had no problems. It is hit or miss. The ones that are unfriendly, I just attribute it to their personality issues and not a status quo here at Church Park. I find the door attendants TOP NOTCH. They are friendly and get to know your names. They are helpful in getting packages to you.
Also, I would like add, as a positive note, the apartments are well kept. I have NEVER had a rat problem like others talk about - perhaps they dealt with it already. Gym is decent. There are nearby gyms to join like FitCorp and BSC. This is a VERY safe building. security cameras everywhere. The garage for your car ($300/month) is a MUST if you own a car. Parking nearby is nearly impossible. Whole Foods is 10 steps from the apts. and there are great stores under the apts - let's face it, it's easy living. you will pay for it, though, so if you can overlook the negatives, I would recommend Church Park.
