I'm giving them an extra star overall (now average) and for safety as they just installed a video surveillance, replaced back door locks and upgraded the hot water system in my building since I last wrote. And the last time the elevator was out, it took less than 24 hours to fix (an improvement from when I last wrote)...though it seems to be a recurring thing and maybe the elevator needs a complete overhaul. And finally, I did get a notice to renew my lease in the mail this year.

I was happy for a while living here, but have seen more and more theft in the building. There are no security cameras and they could make it more secure by adding a second locked door to prevent ppl from breaking in. I don't think they care about their residents units getting broken into, I really don't think they care!!!!

My apartment is steaming hot all winter, with the exception of maybe 2-3 nights per year. Many mornings there is little to no hot water to shower and more often than not, when there is hot water it is not a steady temperature - it goes from scalding hot to freezing multiple times in one shower. The hot water faucet in the shower turns itself up even after it was "fixed".

The elevator has gone unfixed and broken for weekends at a time - try doing laundry and bringing up luggage 4 floors...it's not fun! It's doable, but I'm paying for an elevator building, they should ensure it works.

Over the winter, my key sometimes doesn't work in the backdoor (which leads to the dumpsters) and I have to go around the block to get back in - this is preventable, but they don't care.

The office staff on Beacon St are rude. They never sent me a lease renewal and when I asked about it, they told me I was lying. They certainly don't understand that the customer is always right. They are arrogant there.

Other than that, it has a nice feel in the hallways and has nice flowers out front, a recycling station. Some of the maintenance people are REALLY friendly and helpful - I wish for them they worked for a better management company. The leasing office on Queensberry St is super friendly - again, I wish for them that they worked for a better company. I was willing to deal with the issues living in this building, until the theft rates went up and they proved they just don't care. I do not recommend living here, unless you don't mind getting your stuff stolen or being burned/frozen while taking a shower.
