This is a short-term rental, more like a boarding house than apartment. I lived here for 4 months over the summer while waiting to get into a real apartment, and it was the worst experience. Unfortunately for that period of time I had no choice but to live here. If I had known about the YWCA, I would have gone there first.

A "studio apartment" has a double bed, tv, hot plate, sink and bar fridge,and table and rents for $450/week. I did not have a private bathroom, it was shared with 3 other rooms. The staff claims that the bathroom is cleaned twice a day, but you were lucky if it were cleaned twice a week. There was one week it was never cleaned...it was so disgusting. There was feces all over the toilet seat and the tub was clogged constantly. There are so many cockroaches, you can here them scrambling in the walls (it was a very old building). I should have called the health board, but I had no where else to live at the time (I was on a waiting list). The staff didn't care, they just wanted your money. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!

I agree totally. This place is awful. It's noisy, dirty and unpleasant. Don't go there.
