the previous posters are all right on point. besides the noise, noxious chinese cooking smells, dirty hallways, rat infestations, etc, homeless people come into the building regularly to steal clothes out of the dryers in the basement. they also break into apartments.
the area is NOT safe...hookers and drug dealers everywhere. the rent is not a bargain. overall it should be your last resort.
