The apartment is ok. Small and somewhat overpriced, but fine. The concierge is FABULOUS. The best thing Garrison did was to find him.

The management is horrendous. Dealing with the two apartment managers is painful and most tenants dread interactions, as is evident from the other postings on this board. My suggestion would be to take your rent elsewhere--it's not worth paying a fortune to deal with uncooperative people. I had a horrendous experience last Spring and was promised it would be fixed. I agree, Garrison Sq. Mgmt. manages to employ obnoxious and incompetent property managers. Part of their problem is that they are both a management company and a construction/contracting company, so most of the maintenance is, obviously, done without any bidding. The workers they hire are poorly skilled, lazy, and treated so poorly by the company itself that they have little incentive to do a decent job. If you value a responsive management company, look elsewhere.
