Garrison Sq seemed good

Stayed here for 9 months through summer and winter.
Leasing office seem prepared to work on a deal for rent if you are working to a particular budget (for instance if you need to squeeze in parking etc).
Overall the place is well-maintained and the Garrison Sq site is small enough that it can be managed well.
Any maintenance requests were dealt with promptly.
Some of the apts are in converted building shells and it appears the insulation against noise between apts is not very good.
It can be a problem ceiling-to-floor as well as wall-to-wall between apts.
Common corridors (particularly in the oldest building) are probably ready to be refurb'd, but to be honest it doesn't make that much difference as a resident.
Location is key for this complex and if you want to be in central Boston in a safe place, with on-site parking and a washer/dryer in your apt, it is probably the best you will find in this price range.
