I dont know what they used to make the walls or floors for that matter but nearly every sound was transmitted through both without fail. I mean, come on! Should I be able to hear my neighbors answering machine'! Should I be able to hear my neighbor doing the dishes' Should I be able to hear the television of the tenant directly above me' And forget about it when the sun goes down. Its a wonder how I slept or studied. Putting in my earplugs became standard practice. You think Im joking' Im as serious as cancer.
But when the sun comes back up, youll be welcomed by all the vandalism and trash caused by you neighbors and their guests.
I was happy when I moved but manouvering anything through that service door just made the Greenhouse experience crap until the bitter end.
The shower was probably the only plus in the apartment. You would wash a baby elephant in that thing.
You also cant beat the location, especially if you go to NU. Everything is within walking distance. Its just an overpriced NU dorm. But if you have rich parents, dont care about advancing your education, and party like youre going to the chair everyday, then Greenhouse is for you. Tell all the people you hate to live here.
