I just read these reviews and had major flashbacks to my time in the Greenhouse. I lived there for 2 years in college. First of all, the positives: Rooftop pool (one of very few in Boston), location (unbeatable), fitness room (heard it has been remodeled), library, parking underground (convenient).

Negatives: TONS of Eurotrash. And for those unfamiliar with the way the term "eurotrash" is used in Boston, it basically means ANY wealthy foreigner who comes here to study, who drives European cars (beemers, benz) and wears European clothing. usually, these people are Middle Eastern and South American. Well, these kids are extremely wealthy and live to party 6-7 nights per week. The noise level at times was ridiculous in the Greenhouse. I lived next door to this ---- guy who had extremely loud parties on Monday and tuesday nights... it was really annoying.
Oh. And the first year I lived there, I had a MOUSE problem for like 3 months. Can you imagine' In a building like that' Management was responsive, but I just never thought it was possible to get rodents on the 6th floor of a highrise like that. It sucked!! And we were super clean!!

It sounds to me like both the security and management have worsened, because when I lived there, the concierge was really good, would make me coffee when I studied in the library, and took care of things. I also never had a problem with management although once when I was in Miami I forgot to pay rent, returned Jan 5th and had this very threatening notice about non-payment...which was totally uncalled for because I was never late and it was only 5 days!!

There were some nice, normal upwardly mobile yuppies there, but they are in the minority compared to the eurotrash. I had fun living there because I was a college student, but now that I am an adult, I can't imagine! AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

wow... I didn't think Bostonians were that racist against Arabs. I guess Bush has gotten to everyone...how sad

did that sound racist to you? sounded more like s/he didn't like nonstop partying to me- race didn't seem to be the problem.
