Harbor Towers

 

We've owned at the Towers for 8 years and lived there for 5 (we now rent our unit as we have a house on the North Shore).

The views are awesome; the pool is unbelievable right in the middle of the city.

We loved to swim and watch the planes take off and land across the harbor.

I can understand some of the complaints from owners about condo fees but owners have just finished renovating the entire infrastructure on both buildings.

It cost a fortune but internally the buildings are like new.

Also, in recent years all the windows and elevators have been replaced, and the hallways and common areas renovated in both buildings.

Inside, each unit is different, some totally renovated, others not, depending on the owner.

The problem with smoke coming into other apartments was addressed when the infrastructure was redone.

If some residents have been a little uptight in the last few years, they've put up with the noise and dust from the big dig followed by the extensive building renovations and it's been difficult.

However, all the tough times are coming to an end (Tower I is just about finished)and now the Towers are in an unbelievably great location with the park on one side and the harbor on the other.

My husband and I loved living there.
