It's very good spot if you can afford it.

Good:
- Great location: Fenway has entertainment, proximity to downtown (storrow), shops, restaurants, gas stations, the back bay fens public park... you name it and its here... and you pay for it.
-Parking sucks only because it is 275 a month. I guess thats the price you pay when you living in this area.
-Noise is definitely a problem. between the the taxi's that are always honking their horns, the ambulances/firetrucks, peoples car alarms(my #1 issue), and the people on the street & in between the buildings.
-The rooms are nice and spacious.
-Every morning when i walk to work at 8 AM there is a guy sweeping up around the building keeping the area clean. Much appreciated in my book.
- The residents are really nice. Will hold doors for you, say hi in the elevator, etc...
- The building manager (Richard "----" Collins) isn't all too friendly but he takes care of issue immediately. As the management should if you coughing up almost 3K (after a parkings spot and utilities)
-My car was vandalized/broken into 3 times while parked on the fenway in a month and a half (between sept 14th 07 - nov 1st 07) So getting off the street parking is a must.

Overall a very awesome spot. I am happy living here, especially living next to the 2007 World Series Champions

SteveDel248 i was wondering if i could ask you a quick question about the safety of your car. My father works for the Boston police and overall that is a pretty safe area and a lot of break ins to cars occur because burglars walk the street at night and look into the cars for valuables (i.e. - briefcases, navigation systems, stereos). When your car was broken into did you have a lot of valuables visible and left in the car or was it completely empty? What type of car did you own? What type of vandalized damage occurred to your car? thanks

Hey there. That area is not bad with the exception of the poor neighborhoods of Roxbury to the south and the rowdy college students. You are 100% correct with the high volume of break-ins due to dark areas, and a lack of businesses on certain streets. No valuables were visible in my car. The only thing visible was a windshield mount to my GPS. I removed the actual unit but left the mount stuck on. This was enough to cause 2 break ins. Window smashed, broken stuff in the car.
