My husband I are apartment hunting and a co-worker recommended Landmark. We toured Landmark a few years ago and liked it. So I called Landmark's management to get pricing. I spoke with Shane Baron, who was VERY rude and assumed I was a competitor "shopping" him for apartment rates.
When Shane gave me the apartment info I was looking, after giving him my name, email address, phone number, current residence, and first born child, I let him go, and not even 2 minutes later he called me at my work and accused me of being a spy from another apartment building. He said he called my apartment building and they said I wasn't a resident. The nerve!!!!
If that's how they want to treat potential residents in this economy - good luck to them. I will never call or look at any building under Abbey Residential Management ever again.

They're -------s. Good luck getting any security deposits back. The staff there are very rude. The gym is a joke. Unless you have poor circulation and are constantly freezing, don't step foot in there. Its a sauna. The only reason they put that 3 machine gym in is because 1330 Boylston went up, is much nicer with way better accommodiations, and treats their tenants with respect and appreciation for shelling out a ridiculous amount on rent. Besides, 75 Peterborough Street is already getting run down. White crappy appliances that turn your unit into a sauna too. And, if you're worried about going broke while living here, don't use the AC. You'll get robbed. I had a 1 bdrm apartment less than 700 sq feet and my first AC bill for 1 month was over $300.
