409 Marlborough street: a dump for $1050. Mice make it their home
From: zesellerDate posted: 4/17/2005
Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
I lived at 409 Marlborough street from Sept 2001 to Sept 2002, and I could not get out fast enough!
Pros: None
Cons:
- Noisy neighborhood and freshman kids neighbors who throw wild parties on weekends
- If you need the management emergently after hours, he lives 2 hours away, in New Hampshire, and takes that long to come in
- When the summer started, the heat pipes tbecame the living place for many mice that would visit my apartment often. I called managemnt (Mediate Mgt at 50 Comm. Ave), and their response was to install mice traps in the aprtment. When all the 3 traps were used (by mice who got caught in them, so I came home to the smell of dead mice), the management replaced them by sticky paper traps that did not help at all (mice walked all over it). No attempt to fix the problems were made during that summer of 2002. I moved as soon as my lease was over (could not afford to break the lease). Oh yeah, and I was paying 1050 for this efficiency studio
I do not wish this ordeal to anyone
Avoid this company!!
