Park Lane Seaport is a pretty good place to live (brand new, clean, and attractive), but needs significant improvements:
- for the off-beat location (off of the financial district and not in the financial district), rent is too high here.
- apartment fixtures are second rate (cabinets, bathroom vanity, faucets, etc) and should be first-rate to justify rent prices.
- concierge/security is touted as being 24 hours a day, but is often not the case, as there has many times (with an emphasis on the word "many") when an overnight sign has been placed at the front desk informing residents to see the concierge/security in the neighboring building (sister building under the same name).
- concierge should call residents to inform them of guests (currently, concierge just allows them up without seeing an ID).
- concierge should notify residents when packages are waiting (the concierge used to place keys in mailbox slots to represent package arrivals, but this has been lacking in the last month).
- internet connection in the business center is always very slow (and I mean "very" slow). For the high rent received by residents, management should upgrade to a faster connection.
- the toner in the business center printer is always out of ink (an extra toner should be kept on hand so that residents do not go for days without printing access, as is always the case when the toner is out).
- recycle bins should be placed in the trash room on each floor to encourage recycling (currently, the recycle bins are located only in the loading dock).
- management should create a drop-box for resident comments/suggestions.

I agree with this post. I would not recommend it. Rent is ridiculously high and there is no resident parking. The garage at the building is $265/month and the cheaper garage is $120/month but it is 1/2 mile away. Meters are 2hrs every day (weekends&holidays included) to 8pm.
Also, there's no nearby grocery store, pharmacy, package store, gas station, pet store or decent green space to walk your dog.
The few restaurants in the area are closed on weekends and most are closed by 5pm during the week.
I will be leaving once my lease is up.
