I lived in there Fenway apartments on Park Dr, 2 separate buildings over 3 years. The first apartment I lived in was nice, but old, it was infested with mice and after maintenance and an exterminator coming out 3 times, there still was mice. We caught 5 in a 24hr period, that was how bad it was and this wasn't a basement. The management company claims they aim to make you happy but they don't. You have to call at least 4 times to get anything fixed. They moved us from one building only 3 months after we moved in and into our lease, due to structural damage, we were told it would be temporary but would be quite a few months so we had to sign a new lease for the remaining 9 months in this new apartment and would have 1st option to move back once it was renovated. Well the time was coming to decide whether we would stay or not and we were told that if we did move back once it was renovated, they would be charging an additional $300/month for a new kitchen, using the same materials that were there before. Our "newer" apartment in a different building a block away was no better with the mice and HOT, I am not kidding. It averages 80 degrees from December through yesterday! The heat is always on full blast and you have no control over it. Despite numerous phone calls to the management company, they tell you they will come and shut it off and that the heat doesn't turn on unless it is 45 degrees outside are all lies. They never shut it off when you ask, they feed you lip service. Nevermind trying to break your lease becuase they are bad managers. They are out to get money and that is it.
THEY also charge a "Pet Fee", which is illegal, when you ask about it being illegal they say well we can charge pet rent of $50/month so what do you want to do'
