Wow.

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
When we moved in, the place looked like the fanciest place we have ever lived. the concierges were very polite, and the building was in a great location. We soon found out, hot water was not included in the apartment, or even an option. When we called to complain, we were either told "everyone is having a problem, they are working on it", or "no one else is having that problem, are you sure you are'". it was never fixed. also, the elevator was broken for about 6-7 months of our 1 year lease, and we lived on the 8th floor. we were actually lucky, because I was unfortunate enough to see some of the other "apartments" in the building, and they were absurdly small and ill equipped ( a hot-plate is not a stove!). they also allow many students in the building, mostly from berkley school of music, many of which practice their instruments at full volume for hours (and don't stop when you complain). one more thing, the office staff is very disorganized, and don't keep good records of deposits and fees. oh yeah, and the windows are all broken, and the wind rattles them like crazy.
PROS: Wicked awesome views, you only have to pay for air-conditioning and cable, and Floyd is super cool.
