I lived here for one hellish year while I was in grad school in Boston. The day I moved in, the unit had not been cleaned or inspected after the previous tenant vacated. There was a tampon in the toilet, the A/C unit didn't work, dust bunnies everywhere, scraps of paper strewn about. After I complained, the property management gals--who were completely non-plussed--sent 2 women to "clean." So I was left with all my stuff in the hallway, waiting for them to "clean." The water in their buckets was brown and dirty and so were their mops and rags. They didn't speak English so I basically had to re-clean everything after they left. Shortly thereafter, my refrigerator stopped working while I was at school for a 14-hour day. Most of the food spoiled. I told the Forest Property ladies about it, and instead of installing a brand new fridge, they instructed the maintenance guy to replace the broken fridge with another used fridge from the basement. Well lo' and behold, that one didn't work either. Another round of food wasted. They again insisted on replacing it with ANOTHER used fridge. They didn't listen when I pleaded with them to have the maintenance guy plug it in first to see if it actually got cold BEFORE installing it! And they refused to refund any of the cost of replacing the food that went bad... Shortly after that, I started getting mice in my apartment. I have never, ever experienced that before and I am a clean and neat freak. I told the Forest ladies of the situation and they basically shrugged and went back to filing their nails. So a few days later, a mouse got into an empty trash can in my kitchen and I brought the trash can with the mouse scampering and banging around in it downstairs to the Forest ladies. They called an exterminator... Besides all of that, the walls are paper thin, the heating is sporadic, you get the picture. For the high price of rent that they charge, I recommend you look elsewhere. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
