I cannot say enough bad things about this place, unfortunately. WORST place I've EVER lived, and I'm no puppy. And though there is not enough space to spell out the gory details, let it be known that I am an IDEAL tenant. Alas, I will be leaving after 4 years of trying this, as do all the good tenants. I feel like each day I've lived here has been COMPROMISE after COMPROMISE, and after searching through apartment listings recently, I now understand that these compromises are far too great.
Looking forward to moving somewhere clean, SAFE, with management that isn't CONFRONTATIONAL and RUDE.

I will be calling inspectional services upon my exit from this place, to alert them to all of the problems that have never been addressed or fixed, despite complaint. Fearful of retaliation from a management company with a history of misdeeds (note the anonymous user name - I do have a few weeks to go) , I've kept mouth shut for YEARS about the mosquitos that eat at me while I sleep at night because we do not have a screen door on our external door... the MOLD and MILDEW problem in the bathroom because it is nothing more than an internal closet with no ventilation... the repeated FLOODS and COCKROACHES and RATS that enter apartments (see screen doors, above).

This will not make up for the BREAK IN to my apartment at 3am, in which "SECURITY" REFUSED to call the police... the THREAT from management to TRAP CATS found roaming in the courtyard... PACKAGES trapped in a security booth with no notice that they're there (the day I saw the dozen roses wilting, and knowing that the recipient was problem upstairs and totally unaware, my heart broke).

The vacancy rate increases each year (we've had no neighbors on either side now for over 9 months - you'd think that's fantastic, but they don't clean vacant apartments and we now have a GINORMOUS RAT and COCKROACH problem). The pics you see online are the same ones we saw years ago and even then they were old, and marginally misrepresentational (each apartment is VERY different - you can bet they picked the most flattering - for instance we have industrial carpeting throughout).

Our rent has increased at a rate that would be quite average, particularly since they pay utilities, and utilities have increased drastically over the past few years. HOWEVER, that said, the rental market is much different this year and we were SHOCKED and DELIGHTED to find something nicer, in a nicer location, with all and MORE amenities that we currently enjoy, for a full 22% LESS than we pay for this dive.

So thrilled this bad dream is over... counting days now.

I like that you think this place is a ---- hole but lived there for FOUR FULL YEARS. Explain that to me, cause if I was really as unhappy as you claim to be, I wouldn't have spent more than 1 year in the place... Oh, and sounds like most of your problems might have been solved by keeping your screen door shut, keeping your cat in and the rats and mosquitoes out...amazing that logic.

@ the response--it seems the original poster had a problem with the fact that there was no screen door to keep shut...
