Pros:
- Location, location, location: next to Longwood E line T stop and many schools
- Generally very quiet area away from most of the ambulance noise/medi-flight helicopters in the hospital area
- The Tetlow St. side has an elevator
- Good for 1-BD and 2-BD splits
- A few new washers and tile flooring have been added in the basement laundry facility
- Friendly maintenance guy lives in the building

Cons:
- Very old building from early 20th C.: have had leaking water/heat pipes that were fixed, drafty old windows, cracked walls/ceilings, rapid dust accumulation
- Bagged trash is left in the hallways for pick-up and some people don't know how to use trash bags correctly...
- Seasonal variation of mouse population in the hallways and bug problems
- Large number of undergrads in the building who can be noisy on weekend nights (partying on the fire escape, playing noisy X-box games, spring usually brings with it the smell of weed in back alley...)
- Landlord recently installed an alarm on the fire-escape and flood lights to illuminate the dark back alley in response to tenant complaints following multiple burglaries in the building and one robbery in the back alley

Overall, is an okay short-term option for those on a budget. Go elsewhere if you're looking for a luxury unit or to stay longer than one year.
