Great apartment if you don't mind the outside area.

I lived here for a year and was very pleased with the apartment building.
It is a new building and clean. Apartment had decent sized kitchen, new appliances, good size bedroom, large bathrooms. All apartments are freshly painted on all walls and rugs are shampooed before anyone new moves in.
Concierge and maintenance staff were very helpful and polite. Anything that needed to be repaired, which was only the garbage disposal twice, was fixed the next working day.
It is a controlled access building so it was safe. All guests need to sign in and out and anyone who is not expected is buzzed in with concierge and checked in with concierge and they will call you to ask if you are expecting a visitor.
Apartment is expensive though since it's right in Boston.
There are tenants on the 2nd floor who have subsidized housing, but seem friendly.
Lots of medical and dental students. All very friendly.
Many Asians in the building, who cook a lot so sometimes the floors will smell like Asian cooking, but my apartment never smelled.
Apartment is located across the street from Tufts Medical Center ambulance emergency entrance, so at night there was noises of ambulances backing up. Trauma helicopter pad on top of medical center is right next to apartment so helicopter is loud when it lands. Late at night the area is not safe and there are fights and yelling sometimes. But it's very safe inside the apartment building.
Overall, this was a clean place to live in and I would recommend the building to friends if they don't mind the area outside of the building.
