Quite Possibly the worst place to live in Braintree

I have lived in Skyline for many years. At one point this was a nice family orientated community. The rent was affordable, People were respectful, and even though the maintenance was less than perfect it wasn't a major issue, because of all the benefits of living in Skyline. It really was a great place to live. The grounds were very nicely kept. Skyline even had security guards walking the premises round the clock. Then as years passed Skyline started to deteriorate in quality. Rent is barely affordable, if you pay out of your pocket, the security guards are gone and the drug dealers are in. This is no joke, in the past two years there has been at least two apartments that I know of that were raided for drugs, riot gear and all! There was also an arrest within March 2006 that was drug related, No riot gear though. These are facts. Do the research. Those are the people they caught. On top of that, people have washing machines in there apartments when it is clearly against lease terms and conditions for at least the two top floors, due to possible flooding. When in use, they use up all the hot water for the whole building. Then again there is only one legal coin-op washing machine, one legal coin-op dryer per 12 apartments, per building. Parking is horrendous, not enough spaces too many cars to sum it up. I highly doubt the buildings are up to code. There is a growing mold problem in almost every building if not all of them. Mold is a serious health risk, especially for people with pre-existing respiratory conditions, children and the elderly. It can cause health conditions for people who are otherwise healthy. Never to my knowledge has the staff of Skyline ever done anything sufficient about this problem. They clean up the mold then paint over the stain, only for the mold to re-appear. Don't count on the board of health for help, they didn't help me. I almost think they don't take tenants from skyline seriously because the majority of skyline tenants are from what I've seen, scumbags. Only a small percentage of respectful "good people" live here now. I'm not sure if that will last much longer. Also, every time an old tenant moves out they put new cabinets and light fixtures in to spruce up the look of the apartments, don't be fooled! Don't count on having a carpet that's not as old as the building. They usually just steam clean it. Don't think that's so bad' Well, by law their suppose to change the carpets at least every decade. Bottom line, Skyline staff and the owners of Skyline do not care about the people that live there, nor do they care about their reputation. If they did Skyline wouldn't have ended up like this. I am personally in the process of finding a new place to live.
