The high rent is one thing, I knew that when I signed the lease but I hate the fact that my electric bills are off the chart because there is no insulation. They never told us we would have to pay water when we signed our lease, and then a month later told us we would have to. The water bill is twice as much as I paid at a huge house I shared with 3 other people before I moved here!! The place is pretty, I will give it that, but the high bills on top of the over priced rent make it so hard to make ends meet.

The walls are paper thin and I can hear everything, which means other people can hear me as well. Ugh! I really don't want to hear what my neighbors are doing.


I was thinking of getting a dog, but my neighbor who has a pet had to pay a pet deposit plus extra rent each month to have her pet. I can't imagine that ON TOP of the what I pay already. No puppy for me :(

it's against Mass law to start charging you for water mid lease....if they did do that get a lawyer

If you keep everything on, then yes you will pay a higher electric bill. Conserve energy and water = lower bills. I live here and have neighbors living on both sides with pets and I heard nothing. Try not snooping on your neighbors and maybe you will not hear anything. I Love this place, the higher rent includes all the amenities and social activities which some places charge for.
