Poor Management & Overpriced

When I looked into moving into this complex back in Aug. 2005 they were advertising a move in rate of only a $350.00 deposit. What they failed to mention is that depends on their stringent credit ratings guidelines. If you do not measure up then you have to pay a full months rent as a deposit. Bait and switch, if you ask me. I had excellent references, but that didn't seem to matter. Oh well. If you have a pet or pets be forewarned that they charge a 25.00 a month pet rent fee on top of your rent AND a pet deposit of $450.00. Also not mentioned on rent.com. If you are on the second or third level you roast in the winter- I had my windows open many a 30 degree night in January. I asked if they rented to the "kids' across the street from the college and was told "no"- they lied! Come September their were college kids galore who were noisy and left bottles (broken ones) and garbage everywhere in the streets every weekend. Also, lots of little dogs here and unlike myself most people do not like to pick up after them so watch your step on the lawns! Complained about this, t no avail. They recently asked to renew my lease to the tune of $74.00 more dollars a month! HA! Currently they are asking LESS for my apartment to new renters and they have the nerve to ask me to pay MORE' Um, no. Needless to say I am out of here. I can rent a two bedroom for less than what I pay now in a much more convienient location on the South Shore. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.
