We had lived there for two years. The place was taken over by a national company on the date we moved in. They have been working hard at ruining a good place, by doing tasteless renovations that are managed poorly, and by replacing all the old faithful staff one by one. With one of the doormen, a wonderful 60 year old man, the residents organized a petition to keep him on.
It is overpriced and is now being more and more marketed to wealthy students. Do not expect any kind of community life as most of the students are snotty rich kids.
Parking is an outrageous $225 a month, and the elevators break down often and are overcrowded. There is no service elevator, so expect 10 minute waits every end of month as residents move in and out. The side that overlooks commonwealth avenue gets all the noise from the T green line that runs there.
