My girlfriend and I have lived here nearly five years and have enjoyed every minute of it. The rent complaints are from people who obviously haven't looked anywhere else in the city as they are quite comparable. In the current market you may find a similar place for a little less, but not too much.

The management has been ultra responsive to any of our problems/maintenance and have always fixed something the same day.

As for the folks that live there, mostly professionals, small families and the occasional grad student. Though it doesn't quite matter as most of them are quite considerate. On top of that the thick construction of the
building keeps noise inside the apartments.
Unless you are in the parking lot or in the
hallway, chances are you won't ever hear your neighbor.

The parking lot is very well maintained and brightly lit. The towing company is also very responsive in the occasional situation where someone is parked in your spot.

Public transportation has always been an issue in Boston especially the BU 'B' Line.
So, if a super speedy "in the city" commute is what you are looking for, perhaps you should investigate the Red or Orange lines. Though "speedy" has never quite been a defining factor with the 'T'.

The neighborhood itself is as safe as any in Boston, comprised mostly of elderly Europeans, professionals and to a lesser extent college students (still a fair amount of them, but you won't see a ton of them causing too much of a ruckus as you would further down Commonwealth Ave.)

I would easily recommend the building to
anyone new to Boston or looking to relocate.
