When I moved in to Battles Farm a year ago, I was so excited...the price was right, the grounds were well kept & it was so quiet. Let me share some of the wonderful features not in the brochure...Although, maintenence is there 24 hours (at least thats what they tell you) they can't seem to mow the lawn until 7am on a Saturday or Sunday & use that loud blower thing; The loudest garbage trucks in the city start collecting trash at 5:30am which seemed like 2x a week including the weekends...My neighbors leave their trash outside their doors, when the dumpster is 50 feet away...you know what this means...YES! Critters...families of racoons & seagulls rummaging thru the trash...and to top it off...I have this funky smelly nasty neighbor, so I have to hold my breath up & down the hall stairs that lead to my apartment & the summer heat has only intensified this feature. It sucks! and don't complain to the office, because somehow it gets back to your neighbors & now you are a target for retaliation...oh it's just grand! If you don't mind these special added features, hey...this is the place for you!

I'll admit that I don't actually live there, but other than the neighbor that leaves their trash outside, there is nothing that management would have been able to do. They can't control the way a person smells, and it wouldn't matter what time the maintenance and trash was taken care of, people would complain. So don't make a mountain out of a molehill. Relax and realize that if you want perfect buy your own place with no neighbors.

This tenant is lying or stretching the truth. I've been there for years. Never saw a "critter" problem. Management is great and I don't ever remember seeing or hearing mowers running on a weekend. If you had a problem with a neighbor then, ask to move to another apt. Some people are just never satisfied.
