101 Monmouth sits on the cusp of two very distinct generations. There are many elderly tenents and many students.
There's a pool out back which is almot unheard of in Boston, though there are beaches an hour away which I prefer.
Management is responsive, but grumpy. On-street parking's illegal in Brookline so the building feels okay with chargine $120/month for parking in a garage that's flooded a few times, and consistently drops large chunks of paster and dust on my car.
We've held the lease in exchanging hands for almost a decade which puts our rent significantly below what they can charge new tenants. I've posted what I guess to be the average rent for a three bedroom in the building, but I may still be low.
Walls between apartments are solid - I've never heard any of my neighbors. However walls within the apartment are thin, and sound travels easily between rooms.
