Endless Loud Construction - Renters Beware!

Since the end of October 2006, jackhammers have been going 5 days/week in the garage.
Apparently, all 4 levels of the garage are being massively restructured.
Evasive answers from management ("this will be going on for some time") are not reassuring.
Tenants were given no warning of this project - the noise simply started one day.
Living on a lower floor, it's been impossible to be home between 9am- 1pm - it's just too loud.
Management refuses to give any break on the rent.
I'm not sure we would have moved in had we known about this.
The door staff is fabulous.
Unfortunately, they can't help the situation (and they're *really* getting the noise!).
