- Wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The place is a great value. No it's not newly renovated, but that's why the rent is so low! The rooms are expansive with plenty of light. No noise problems because the apartment faces a dead-end street. The landlord is always around and very quick to respond to maintenance requests. He's continually updating the apartments, even when we ...Full review of Sam Son Apartments

The Mackin Group is a joke - The "NO" recommendations listed in this site are all true.

After too many years of dealings with the Mackin "Group" I guarantee the yes recommendations were all written by the Mackins personally - that just about says it all. ...Full review of Mackin Group Incorporated

Too much money for an ancient building - My husband and I lived in Pelham Hall for two years. Although there are many positive attributes to this apartment building, over time, the negatives began to outweigh the positives. I would not recommend this building to anyone looking for a "luxury" living environment. I'll start with the good things about the building: 1) The Location: You really can't beat this ...Full review of Pelham Hall

Paying for location - I've lived in Harvard Terrace (from Chestnut Hill Realty) for 9 months and will be moving out when my lease is up in August. The rent is definitely high, but you are paying for a phenomenal location in the heart of Brookline. 2 minute walk to pharmacy, 5 minute walk to grocery, 8 minute walk to either C or D line (it's actually located smack-dab in the middle of the C and D ...Full review of Harvard Terrace
