Former CHR resident

I used to live in their building at 20 Concord in Cambridge, which was overall a quiet building with few complaints.
However, the few times I needed things from CHR I had serious concerns. The most disturbing of which was on one occasion they felt the need to enter our apartment without any advance notice (we weren't there at the time, and we were renters). OK, fine, maybe it was an emergency. (It wasn't, but let's say for the sake of argument it was). Whoever came in broke several pieces of pottery, and when I brought this up with CHR they denied it and refused to investigate.
In general, they are slow and uncooperative about any requests for maintainence or management, at least if you're a tenant. I have a hunch they're more cooperative for owners.
We recently purchased a condo, which is why we don't live there anymore, but we considered a condo in a CHR building in Cambridge. Our realtor told us about the horror stories of trying to negotiate for that sale -- apparently CHR had all sorts of unethical practices going on that complicated matters. It reinforced my gut level decision when we were looking to not consider CHR properties, because I don't like the way they do business.
