We lived at Chestnut Hill Realty for three years, and had a number of problems over the years but nothing that compared with being robbed by the cleaning lady before we moved out. In the final week of our tenancy, we entered our apartment to find the remainder of our pictures (which had been in a closet) in a pile on the floor. A cleaning lady, who did not speak English, was in the kitchen. While we chatted with the neighbors, she ran out of our apartment. We came back in to find that she had stolen a number of things from our house! Wedding gifts, cleaning supplies, etc. were gone. We were shocked. The next day, we returned to our apartment to find that Chestnut Hill Realty locked us out! We still had two days left on our lease. This all happened at the end of August. We immeditately informed Chestnut Hill Realty of this, and the did not respond for weeks. When they did respond, they were rude and unapologetic and refused to pay for the damages. We eventually got a check for less than half of the property that we lost and nothing to make up for the lost rent. We called and emailed about the check, and have received absolutely no response for weeks. Do not live here. It is a truly horrible place.
