CHR for Brookline - unprofessional and incompetent From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/2/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I have stayed in an apartment in Brookline run by CHR for 1 yr. We consistently had rat problems in our apartment but maintenance could not do much to solve the problem.The problem was so bad that not only did we wake up each day to see rat droppings everywhere fm the night before, we would often hear rats running around in the ceiling.Basically the place is infested. Each time we called the problem in, they would send a maintenance guy to fill up holes and not a proper professional exterminator to SOLVE the problem. This makes this highly unacceptable and unhygenic environment to stay. So do not consider if you have kids around or are planning to start a family. Its basically not the kind of place one should stay and certainly not worth the high rental. Pls be warned that at first glance the place looks good but its only after having stayed there you will come to discover the poor workmanship and how rat infested the place is.
