Mixed review - pluses and minuses

Building has old charm, and touts nice details like gargoyles on building exteriors, crown moldings in units throughout. Kitchen is nicely renovated. Bathroom could be more updated. High ceilings, and plentiful windows(single pane.)

Rent is expensive compared to rent by owner units, but at a market rate for a large apartment complex in the area. Electricity(heat) not included.

For working in Lonwood medical area, location is great, only a few minutes walk. A T-stop directly across the building is convenient. Green D line runs infrequently(20 minute wait average)and waiting area is unsheltered.

Management, excluding the top manager and the owner, means well, and are pleasant to deal with. But they are disorganized and mistakes are frequently made, often in forms of misplaced documents: missing signed lease (mis-filing), rent overdue(double billing), or utility bill overdue (for another unit.)

Maintenance is not responsive. A couple of calls will bring them in, and promises made, but then nothing gets done. Maybe a few more calls' The way units are maintained could be better. Wall patch jobs, especially around window panes are horribly done, and overlaying of paint has taken a toll on the walls.

Parking is $190-240(valet vs. assigned) per spot per month in the garage. Garage is seperately owned. Staff is not helpful for any car problems like difficulty starting your car or even defrosting in the winter. Manager is unaccomodating, and will not prorate the monthly fee even if you move in on the 13th.

In the lobby there are two event venues that are also seperately owned that holds wedding and events every weekend afternoons and/or evenings, and can get crowded.
