I lived in this dump briefly in 2007. I really wish I had read the reviews before signing the lease.

I won't repeat what's been said, but it's all true and this place is a certifiable nightmare. The main problem is the psycho manager Lee Torrey. The main reason I rented here was that they had underground parking. Well, shortly after signing my lease I noticed they assigned my GMC Yukon XL to the smallest parking spot in the garage.

Lee's response' Threats, revocation of gym membership, etc. The real estate agent did get me a new spot which was marginally better, but I literally had to crawl into/out of the passenger door every time I wanted to enter or exit my car.

It got so bad between me and Lee that, after he sent a particularly slanderous certified letter , I contacted a well known real estate lawyer to get me out of my lease without costing me a cent. Ironically, Lee was no longer such a tough guy when my lawyer informed him that his slanderous letter opened him and Sovereign realty up to a nice defamation lawsuit.

In short, don't live in this building for all the money in the world. There is nothing great about it except for the underground parking and you can find comparable housing for the same money or less throughout Brookline.
