I have lived at Archstone for the past year and am moving on to another apartment. There are some good things and some definite bad things about the complex.

The location is great- I enjoyed being close to 95 and 93 but not right on the highway. There were plenty of trees and nice landscaping. Don't live near the trash compactor- it's VERY noisy.

Several people have mentioned the neighbors, and there are definitely some interesting people living there. I had completely disrespectful neighbors who were noisy and inconsiderate. They left their squawking birds on their balcony 24/7. When I complained to the office they assured me it would be taken care of- WRONG. It can also be very difficult to get your packages from the office.

I enjoyed having a washer and dryer, and all of our appliances functioned. The repair guys were always prompt and nice. Our air conditioning/heating system was awful though- the poor insulation keeps it cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Overall, I would not recommend Archstone because I think there are better complexes for that kind of price.
