New management is as bad as it gets

I have lived here for four years, and can't wait to leave.
These were once nice apartments... quiet, well-maintained, reasonably priced. But the new management company (Archstone) is horrible. Since they took over the Arboretum (a year and a half ago), they have raised the prices and let the apartments go downhill, and they are about as unpleasant to deal with as they come.
Specific problems:
- Garbage bin is centrally located, always overflowing. Racoons and skunks spend a lot of time there.
- Half of the screens are out in public windows. The other half are torn. Bugs abound INSIDE the buildings during the summer.
- The carpets in the public areas are shot, and have been for a couple of years.
- The management company are flagrant liars. Ask about the maintenance, and they'll tell you how they just spent a million bucks revamping the club house. But do they mention that YOU cannot use the clubhouse anymore' Do they tell you that the buildings themselves are run down and getting worse'
- The health club is only open when most people are at work. What are they thinking'
- Ditto for package deliver. Oh, the management will ACCEPT deliveries while you're at work. Just try to GET your package... sorry, the office is closed!
Stay away.
