You can, and do, hear everything your neighbors do around you. I have heard this from numerous other tenants. Also, I was treated rudely by the "higher-up" employees (The ones that sit in the back office as opposed to the front desks) when I was simply alerting them to a condition on the property. The normal employees are extremely nice and courteous.

Overall I don't think it's too bad of a deal. The base rent is not too high for the area and the apartments are in very good condition. The pet rent ($35/mo) and deposit ($350) are way too high, in my opinion, but there's no way around it.
