I've lived here for almost 6 years and in the last year things have changed drastically. My apartment was broken into within ONE MONTH of new management coming in and since then it's been terrible. If you want to live here expect to pay through the nose unless you rent privately, which was my situation until my landlord had to sell due to health reasons. Power goes out FREQUENTLY in the summer and ANTS are a recurring problem. And to add insult to injury, my new "landlord" , TVI, wants to raise my rent $325/mo!!!!! So I am MOVING. I know my friend who used to live downstairs would see drastic increases from year to year as well. ($100 - 200 min.). I think that is unfair and that they should take into consideration good tenants. Obviously they only care about the bottom dollar and not you! And my car has many DINGS and scratches from inconsiderate neighbors. ONE OF THE PROBLEMS WITH MY BREAK-IN (WHICH HAD HAPPENED IN BUILDINGS ONE MONTH BEFORE WHICH WE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT)IS THAT I LIVED HERE FOR 6 YEARS AT THE TIME AND THE FRONT DOOR LOCK HAD NEVER BEEN CHANGED!!! HOW MANY PEOPLE HAD THAT KEY AND COUDD GET IN! ALSO, ALL the doors have HINGES ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENCE!!! ALL someone has to do is unhinge your door and they can get in!!! Unsafe!!! Spend your dollars somewhere else. Also, the management company STINKS.
