Other review "Sort of okay" is pretty much right on the money ....
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 6/30/2005

I lived here for 3 months.
There are 2 different "management" companies: the main rental office and (at least one) separate company- TVI Realty. The main rental office is responsible for the "common areas;" TVI was responsible for in-house repairs, issues, etc.
The other reviewer was right about this place being very dense: all the buildings are close together and parking is adequate but not great. Plowing is adequate. Trash bins do overflow sometimes. There is no recycling -which bothered me being aware of the impact on the environment.
Location: It is VERY close to 128 and some units (including the one I was in) were so close that I could hear the traffic in my bedroom with the window closed. To me, it was sort of like "white noise" so it didn't bother me that much. I would assume the units in the back would not hear much traffic noise.
Outside Facilties: There is at least 1 pool, tennis courts, a central building with: a small "gym" with tv's & AC, an upstairs room for rent for parties or something like that, and a laundry room. Laundry is expensive at this complex!
There's a nice, small pond that is completely fenced off, which sucks.
There are paths throughout which makes it a decent place to take a stroll.
The Unit/Ambiance: My unit was on the 3rd (top) floor. There were some large windows which was nice but some of the windows are high, going across the wall for about 4 feet, so you get light but a crappy view.
The unit I was in was pretty clean (my roommate was clean) so I never saw bugs.
The fixtures were fairly cheap-looking. There was some leaking in the celing though.
Our hallway was not "smoky" at all.
Noise: I had a major problem with noise here. The downstairs neighbors had a kid that just ran and slammed doors all the time. (Other apartments I never heard a peep from). The main/central office didn't really care. The girl who works in the front office couldn't crack a smile if you paid her.
TVI was much more responsive after my complaint *offering* to come check out the noise and sending letters and telling me that eviction might not be too far away. ( I was quite surprised they jumped on it the way they did. It doesn't seem to be the norm from reading these reviews). Even having a top floor, end unit didn't save me from very inconsiderate neighbors. Hit or miss I guess.
Overall, I would say average. Rent is too high for what you get.
