Good and the bad

I lived here for 2 years and have loved it, however it all depends on location I feel. I had a 3th floor unit (no upstairs neighbours) with view of the pond (which next to a nice view also means more privacy) and rented it from private owner, so limit dealings with the beacon village management. Limited still means some dealing, like moving the trash dumpsters further away, but I guess that is one of the things you have to deal with in any apartment complex (altrough I still believe its avoiding/relocating the problem of overloaded trash dumpsters then fixing it)
I had good neighbours I guess since I never heard them or maybe the insulation isn't as bad after all (altrough you will hear upstairs neigbours, I lived on the 1th floor for a while, however the noise was limit to running kids), more then enough parking in front of my apartment and close proximity of the tennis court and pool. Me and my girlfriend found it a safe place and never felt scared or anything (other then on halloween maybe ;). Most of the kids running around are just kids, I never spotted teenagers hanging around (which are far worse then just some kids playing).
If I didn't have to relocate for my job I would certainly have stayed here longer.
For future renters, check out the apartment and the surroundings yourself, if you like it take it, if not look further. I can only speak for my neck of the complex, and that was excellent.
